This is what the distinctive Region 01 Awards Ribbons and different ribbon devices look like. They are the same size as the ribbons that appeared in the Original Series of Star Trek, and they look sharp on the TNG and DS9 style uniforms.

The New STARFLEET Dress Uniform
In Star Trek: Insurrection, we saw new Starfleet Dress uniforms as designed by Robert Blackman. As reported in issue 120 of the STAR TREK Communicator, he modeled the updated costume after a naval dress uniform. "Along with a dark jacket and dark trousers, the actors wear a shirt underneath. The Captain's is all white and others are all gray. They have horizontal pleating with a bib front. The trousers all have gold trim with a military braid down the side.
VADM. S. Thomas (RET) created theses various sketches of the new Dress Uniform as well as the Starfleet and SF Ground Force Dress Uniforms.
